Lawyers from the Smith family have been serving the Cleveland, Bayside and Redlands communities for nearly twenty years. Luke Smith’s sister opened Smith & Associates Solicitors in 1999 and Luke ran the practice until 2016 when he made the decision to close the criminal law practice to focus on family law. Breen Smith now continues the tradition and Luke continues his long association with the local area.

We regularly appear at both the Cleveland Magistrates Court and the Wynnum Magistrates Court. Our local experience means that we are familiar with the court staff, local police and prosecutors, which allows us to progress your matter quickly and efficiently.

Breen Smith are experienced in representing both the Applicant/Aggrieved and the Respondent in domestic violence applications. Dual backgrounds in family law and criminal law mean that we bring experience and knowledge from other related areas of law to inform our practice and provide comprehensive advice and representation.

In addition to our work in domestic violence matters, we also regularly act in family law matters and divorce applications for clients living in the Redlands area. Having worked in the local area for so long, we are familiar with local support services and can refer you to community services who might be able to assist with respect to the non-legal aspects of your marriage breakdown.
